Do I have to arrive and leave on a Saturday or Sunday?
Arrival and departure dates are flexible.
Does the house have it's own pool?
No. But the community pool and hot tub are only a few steps from our door.
Are linens provided?
Yes, the home is fully furnished with bedding and towels
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Yes, the kitchen has enough utensils to cater 10 people. It also has a dishwasher, full size stove and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster plus all the normal items you would find in a kitchen.
Is there any where to park?
Yes, plenty of parking in front of the house
Can I park campers and trailers in Emerald Island?
No, for now large vehicles and trailers are to be parked off site, this may soon change.
Are pets allowed?
We are sorry but no pets are allowed. We are animal lovers but you have to appreciate that there are guests who are not, and who may be allergic to animals.
Are there laundry facilities?
Yes, there is a washing machine, dryer, iron & ironing board.
Are there TV's in the bedrooms?
Yes, each bedroom has cable TV, some with DVD players
Is there a supermarket nearby?
Yes, Winn Dixie, Publix, and Super Wal-Mart.
Are there any restaurants close by?
There are more than I can list here within a short drive. Just to name a few Outback, Cracker Barrel, TGI Fridays, Carrabba’s, Ihop, some restaurants also deliver to the house.
Where can I play golf?
There are many golf courses nearby within a 10 to 20 minute drive. You can make tee time reservations at the clubhouse, some offer discounts for guests of Emerald Island.
How far is it to the Disney Parks and other attractions?
The Disney Parks are less than 4 miles away, the other attractions are only a 15 to 20 minute drive.
Do I need to clean the house on arrival?
No the house will be clean when you arrive, also there will be things to get you started like trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bath tissue.
If I have a problem on arrival or during our stay who do I call?
Prior to your arrival you would have been sent instructions on location, driving directions etc, you can find a telephone number for our management company, they are near by and available 24 hrs. for emergency’s
